An anti-Semitic reading that suggests Jewish divorce law as still observed, when clearly based in biblical law, is all along just God catering to bad Jewish men wishing to harm women.

The legal mechanism for divorce in Deuteronomy 24:1 is part of the Law and so “perfect” (Psalm 19:7). You need to get some Jesus love in your evil, black heart.
