Well, I'd just like to know as a point of writing- how to convey that someone died as a result of an illness, if under kidnapped/enslaved circumstances.
Corrie Ten Boom raises the question- like Joni Eareckson- of what a 'queer' person is in Evangelical culture. They are non-reproductive people who live outside ordinary lines of sex & family, courting clerical status when that is not allowed women. In that community they seem to have a "third sex" status, is what I'm thinking now.
Corrie says she fell in love with a boy at age 14, and he was whisked away by his status-conscious family. I'd like to learn more about her. To do a queer study of her would certainly be very novel. And yet, she was a forceful woman who didn't keep to traditional feminine roles. Tramp for the Lord!
