Well, first, the Bible has no concept of a "canon," no process for designating a "canon selector," and no idea that such a process is designed to eliminate texts which are clearly set in the 'biblical universe' from consideration by Christian people.

To load all that onto the Bible is then quite an imposition.

So then you're suggesting there is no difference between the biblical authors and anonymous Catholic 3rd-4th century "canon selectors."

That strikes me as just an effort to help Catholic theology.
