Very helpful thank you. I’m wondering if the influence of Dune on Star Wars would be mostly in dramatizing the messianic narrative. But SW is hardly uncomplicated here — it’s not clear Luke is the “Chosen One” or that this myth was anything other than a means of bolstering morale in the face of imperialism.
