The two accounts of Creation in Genesis seem to be in "dialogue" with each other, playing off and modifying each other. Many scholars write on this, like Brodie, *Genesis as Dialogue* or a series of papers by Hulisani Ramantswana. There are many more Creation accounts, including Proverbs 8 and John 1. It’s a design suggesting that no one account has all the truth.

The problem maybe is readers, who so often want to get pumped up with divine favor while enacting sex codes, i.e. "religion."
