The Massacre of the Innocents in Matthew 2:16–18 is an interesting reference to cite in regard to abortion, as it was perpetrated by a Jew, Herod the Great, who evidently did not view it as against biblical law.
As much as I would like to find some critique of Herod as committing a biblical violation in slaughtering born children, I am not finding such a verse.
One might well favor a culture of 'life' and think of humans as sacred, with biblical reference, but the Bible doesn't mention abortion and biblical law does not seem to lend itself to criminalizing it.
