The Bible's Creation narratives are anything but simple. John 1:1-3 (cf. Col 1:15–17) says Jesus is the catalyst of Creation, which is not the narrative of Genesis.

Then there's the very different Creation narratives of Proverbs 8, or Wisdom 10:1–14, or the “Hymn to the Creator” in the Qumran Psalms scroll.

“No one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end,” says Ecclesiastes 3:11,

But you say you know—because you picked the "simplest" option.

Maybe you're just a simpleton.
