Thanks James. The story of Graham in the Nixon White House suggests not just that he was a hard-core anti-Semite who did not believe in civil liberties, but also that he lied a lot. We also know that from the 1993 story of him in Ohio being forced to retract a statement in a speech that AIDS was God's punishment. He said he'd never said it before, but in fact he'd said it many times.
I don't see any reason to believe anything he ever said. He was a publicity whore whose private self was very, very dark.
