Thanks! I'd remind that the word 'queer' is used in many senses, and as regards Diana in the more academic use, is not a commentary on her sex life. It's not saying she was quietly lesbian. It's more a suggestion she was quite 'different' in a way that challenged traditional ideas of gender.
