Thanks for mentioning the Jews of Evangelicalism- I realized I should re-write my old piece on Allan Bloom, the favorite (gay Jewish) moralist of the religion (who died of AIDS). Dr. Laura and many other Jewish speakers with Evangelical fan bases articulate the vague "Judeo-Christian morality" that Evangelicals would be uncomfortable trying to articulate. Yes, above all they want women subservient and gays banished, a general tone of obedience, etc., but to get into the weeds of the Bible references is tricky, and maybe better to let a Jew do that.
