Thanks, but where is shepherding indicated in Proverbs 13:24? It isn't. That's just a Christian church chatter because they like the idea of hitting animals and people.

The object in Prov 13 is a sceptre, a wand held by a ruler to visualize authority. It doesn't strike people.
