Thank you, very well put. I myself had an insight awhile back that Evangelicals really didn't even like Jesus. They liked Adam and Eve and the idea of marriage as a sacred practice. They like Moses, and Paul—or the versions they make of these figures. But Jesus doesn't do much for them.
