Thank you, as usual the Course is wonderfully provocative. A thought I've mused over is if the shift into a "garment of skin" or animal form isn't, in immediate terms, an upgrade. Perhaps the idea is that beings on an upward trajectory of god-like-ness are placed into new bodies as they're ready. The Resurrected body of spirit would be the next one which Jesus arrives to introduce.
