The evidence, in contrast, is that Ellen White had an unusual coldness toward her husband from early on. There are "no warm and intimate expressions" between them. She never wrote anything positive about sex. She looks like a lesbian. She saw profound identity merging with Lucinda. She deeply longed for her presence. She could not explain even to herself a deep feeling for Lucinda. The most obvious explanation is that she was lesbian.
