Oh thanks, very interesting. I have a deeper reading of the agenda of Biblical Counseling. It's suggested as well in my latest article about Joshua Harris—which is that the Evangelical dream was to set up a separate world with a separate legal system.
Biblical Counseling is the pretext for the cleric to serve as judge over a conflict. A dispute between husband and wife, or any parties with grievances, have a hearing in the 'counseling' session, as the cleric makes a ruling.
It becomes a de facto court of law.
