Note Ann Nyland's translation of 1 Tim 2:14-15: "And Adam was not deceived, but the woman made a mistake as she was beguiled, and she will be saved by means of the Birth of the Child if they continue to be trustworthy, loving and holy and have good sense.” The 'she' here becomes the church, who is spoken of as a real figure of a woman many times. The child who saves is Jesus.
