I would make a point. Jesus speaks in tight, focused sentences meant to stimulate thought. You come along, verbose, angry, meandering. You learn nothing from him. Jesus is unknown to you.

- The meaning of Lev 18:22 has been a puzzle to many people, from Jews to modern Bible scholars. The Christian version you're used to is a total revision, adding words to create a new meaning. There is no "as if" for example.

- Re. arsenokoitai, words are not defined by etymology. They acquire meanings over time. One scholar uses the example of the English word "understand." It doesn't mean to stand under something. A word that means "man" + "bed" doesn't mean two men are having sex. A "bed" in Greek words can be a grave ("the bed which sleeps all"). In the Bible, a "bed" is a Temple (cf. Ezek 23:17). Remember : this is a spiritual system that sees the deity married to a human population.

Otherwise, your Evangelical readings of Bible stories are created from a text that isn't really there. You hallucinate many plot points and overlook many others that disagree with your readings. In the Sodom story, for example, Lot's daughters are clearly valued commodities being produced as hostages to ensure the safety of the visitors—a classic "hostage exchange" scenario often seen in the OT. The daughters were engaged to Sodom citizens; they would not be harmed.
