I might reverse this and suggest the right is not aware of the left. The feminine/left side moves with secret logic and motives, and deadly force. The overt public narratives tend to be right-side/male-focused, but they subtly indicate the female narrative in the shadow.
This was a nice study of left-handedness in the OT re. the Ehud narrative of Judges.
