His nasty little rat mind produces verses mistranslated and out of context. He intends to deceive the foolish, to prey on people.

The entire Bible is one polygamous scene after another. If you don't think that it doesn't "turn out good" when Jacob marries two sisters, or Gideon, or David, or Saul, then you think all Bible stories are bad.

Since Jesus is the "husband" of all Christians, then that presumably doesn't meet the rat man's approval either.
