Hi Richard, thanks for the reminder to slow down this important subject for beginning readers. You have learned to look up Bible verses, so let’s go a little deeper and start to read them. It would be much easier to have a discussion if you familiarize yourself with some basic readings. I suggest:

Also, a chapter on breasts in the Song of Songs is to be found in Edmée Kingsmill’s The Song of Songs and the Eros of God: A Study in Biblical Intertextuality.

I have excerpted and made it available here.

I would then be pleased to have a discussion with you about what “breasts” might imply, as theological terms, in the NT references you cite.
