it does seem the Bible sees a link between divine beings and cosmic bodies, as mirrored somehow on the earth.

I was just looking up interpretations of the Menorah, whose 7 points were seen as having planetary significance, perhaps the 5 visible planets plus sun & moon. It does sort of look like a solar system. Zech 4:10 was cited:

"These seven are the eyes of YHWH, which range through the whole earth."
