Fascinating, thank you. It’d have been nice to give Christian kids a realistic overview of the situation in Israel re biblical archaeology. I had to find on my own that Israeli archaeologists weren’t finding evidence the Bible had “happened.” A layer of the Hal Lindsey story might be Evangelicalism ginning up enthusiasm & drama to conceal the lurking problems.
