Fact check. No scholar has studied Bill Gothard's organization, and your offering of parallels to ISIS, etc etc. are simply your imagination in overdrive.

A popular writer on cults, M. Thomas Starkes, said in 1994 that Gothard's organization "has cult-like qualities" but is not a cult. That's the best authority I have found from someone with knowledge—you not included in that category.
