Doesn’t Jesus’ “love one another” agitate against slavery?

The real problem is that we’re trained to think of the Bible as the Manual for Life. It doesn’t outlaw slavery, or high-salt food, or bad table manners.

The Bible concerns only one subject: the interplay between the divine world and the human world. So many references have been misread!
