Curiously enough, the Bible seems not to be that old- the OT completed around the time of the NT. I take it to be a literary composition written by the Essenes. Among the Dead Sea Scrolls are many versions of the same books, in what might be drafts.

To think of the Bible as a literary composition by a group which claims a spirit guide, but who choose to remain largely unknown—can be startling.
