All these "relics" came into existence in the Medieval period. So I wonder if that indicates 1) disbelief in the Jesus story by people who realized they could benefit from forged evidence; 2) a belief a true story lacked evidence they would then supply so as to generate ‘faith’; or 3) total indifference to any larger questions and simply a business.
