Aiden doesn't seem deranged to me.

Christians do violent, hateful, murderous things all throughout the religion's history. When the religion was burning "heretics" and "witches" at the stake, do you strip the label of "Christian" from those murderers? Do the religion's own leaders then become "non-Christian"?
